Stella is an award-winning entertainer for her vocal/celebrity impressions, comedy and dance, and is thrilled to bring over two decades of teaching, performing, and mentoring experience to Northern Virginia!

Originally from Chicago, Stella has owned and operated two children’s theater companies, along with her beloved all-ages music lesson/performance troupe: Stellar Ukulele. Stella loves to teach ukulele, which she favors as the gateway instrument for aspiring musicians and credits the ukulele for bringing out her inner rock star. Stella is known for her clever parody and satire song writing and has developed workshops designed to turn any level of musician into a successful song writer. For Stella there is nothing more fulfilling than to lead and mentor others to safely and effectively find their own voice, develop their unique brand, and increase their knowledge and skills in any area of performance and entertainment.

Inspired and influenced by legendary entertainers of the past, such as Lucille Ball, Danny Kaye, and Rosemary Clooney, Stella has always been drawn to the artistic expressions of the 1920s, 30s, & 40s, with the 50s landing a special place in her heart. Stella’s passion for retro music and goals to contribute to the world of entertainment continues through her solo performance act, Stellar Serenades, which brings to her audiences a wide range of vocal stylings from sultry Jazz, to cute crooner, bubbly Broadway, classic Country and 80s power ballads. Recently, Stella has created a platform for gift-giving singing telegrams for all occasions and continues to keep vintage music in the spotlight through her Stellar Serenades private and public events.  

Music has always been a central part of Stella’s life and occupations; when Stella isn’t teaching or performing, she works as Vibroacoustic Sound Therapist and Vocal Midwife; bringing cutting-edge sound technology and time-tested vocal attuning /breath-work techniques into the realm of health and wellness. Her downtime is spent indulging in craft coffee and creating digital art for her book project while her two pugs, Picasso and Rembrandt, cuddle with her on the couch.
