In a world in which we wear many hats and identify as many things for as long as I can remember I have always identified first and foremost as a healer AND perhaps a dancer too, because I still think of myself as the little ballerina from my yesteryears who fell in love with an art form that would pave my entire life's journey. I recognized at a young age, not only did I have an attraction to the healing arts , plus moving and grooving, but I also had a gift that I can only describe as a healing energy that over time developed into focused techniques which then evolved into the mastery and blending of a variety of modalities that aid in balancing the body, mind, and spirit; Sound Therapy and Medicine Music being my all time favorites.

As a Sound Therapist and Medicinal Musician I have had an incredible opportunity to live, work, and play at the intersection of science and art with my method applications ranging in technology from ancient healing instruments all the way to programable frequencies. using cutting edge vibroacoustic electronics.

When my Greek lyre, Apolla, came into my life I had all the typical instruments of attunement incorporated into my practice and offerings; Tibetan and crystal sound bowls, tuning forks, dumbeks and frame drums, wind instruments, a hammered dulcimer, BLUE - an incredibly melodic hang pan, and even my trusty ukulele, Bubbles. All of which have been incredibly significant and worthwhile modalities that have contributed to my expertise and versatility as a sound healer and benefited me as an attendant.

So imagine my delight and shock after all these years and all these wonderful instruments to be introduced to what I recognized immediately as my soul-mate instrument and the next chapter in my contributions as a sound healer, song writer, medicine song steward, and Shepard of artful musings.

I have never felt more connected to my divine energy and my spiritual relationship with music then when I play Apolla; I am transported to another time and place and it is my hope that her melodic musings continue to find unique audiences, specialty clients, and future students of the ancient Greek lyre.

My original compositions have been born into this world to contribute to the conversation of meditative and medicinal music with the desire to keep the love alive and growing for original ancient Greek lyre compositions, string instrument soundscapes/sound bath healing, meditation music, and folk story telling/healing through simple music and intentional vibration.
